more ridiculous praise for the arcade fire

Pitchfork Media, the pseudo-official arbiter of indie cool, just named Funeral the number #1 album of the year.

Also, NPR just did a piece.

Oh, that band. I didn't realize they were your friends, they also topped the list of one of The Onion critics. Go them. When are they doing the Japan tour?
